JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeping full accounts of German group companies.
- Participation in the month's closing activities.
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Participate in the preparation of monthly and annual reports.
- Process payment transactions and receivables management.
- Posting of bank statements.
- Reserve calculation and management.
- Participation in the preparation of intra-group transaction arrangements.
- Management of the fixed assets module (creation of fixed assets, sales, scrapping, posting of depreciation).
- Reconciliation of the fixed asset module with the general ledger (preparation of fixed asset movement table, reconciliation tables).
- Preparation of statements and reports for consolidated reports.
- Participate in process improvement and optimization.
- Preparation of documentation for SOX inspections.
- Cooperation with internal and external auditors.
- Work closely with the Back Office & Customer Service Department.
- Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred university degree in accounting, finance, economics and/or min. 3 years of experience in the accounting area (general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable).
- Fluent English.
- Knowledge of German will be an advantage.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel).
- Experience in working with Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 / Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009.
- Openness to working in a team, kindness and willingness to support others.
- Systematic, accurate, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to organize work well and prioritize assigned tasks.
