PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

In this role, this individual will have high visibility to the Mexican leadership team and lead the planning, execution, and reporting of SOX and operational audits in Mexico. This position will provide independent and objective assessments of Superior’s system of internal controls and evaluate business processes to provide meaningful recommendations intended to drive process and control effectiveness and efficiency.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience in public accounting or professional internal auditing.

  • Automotive and / or manufacturing experience.

  • IT Audit experience a plus.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA) desired.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in applying Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

  • Strong Excel skills.
