PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Design, simulate, and optimize CNC programs to machine parts with high dimensional complexity with the maximum precision, efficiency, and quality required by the industry.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • 3 years of professional experience with machines and tools.

  • Programming and operating 2-, 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines.

  • Interpreting technical drawings.

  • Proficiency in MasterCAM and SIEMENS NX design software.

  • Operating and programming CNC machines using software (MasterCAM and SIEMENS NX).

  • Programming with macro variables.

  • Selection of machines based on the work process.

  • Programming of the probe measurement system (Renishaw).

  • Selection of cutting tools for different machining processes.

  • Calculation of feed rates and spindle speeds.

  • Knowledge of CNC controls (Mazak, Heidenhain, OSP Okuma, Hass, Fanuc).

  • Programming of coordinate measuring machines (CMM).

  • Use of software packages: Word and Excel.
