PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Responsible for the design, development, modification, and updating of products and drawings for the development of molds to be introduced into Superior Industries' operations in Mexico, in accordance with the requirements specified by Corporate Product Engineering.
EDUCATION
-
B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- 2 years’ minimum previous experience in design (3D modeling, 2D, drafting, sketching, etc.)
- Proven knowledge of Unigraphics (NX – 11)
- Experience in reverse engineering and resurfacing with 3D scanning results.
- Knowledge in CATIA is desirable but not required.
- Knowledge and experience in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of GD&T to assure form, fit and function of related parts and Assemblies.
- Understanding of the Aluminum manufacturing and processes would be an advantage.
