PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Plans and coordinates the production schedule with all areas of the plant to ensure customer requirements are met, while managing in-process wheel inventories to meet the Packaging Goal; maintains optimal in-process wheel inventory levels without jeopardizing production and our customers; provides the necessary support to the Operations departments, coordinating forklift operators to service the movement of WIP wheels.        

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineer or related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years in the Production Control Area for the manufacture of aluminum wheels.
  • Administration and Personnel Management.
  • In Inventory Control.
  • Interpretation of customer requirements for Ford, Chrysler, GM, BMW, Nissan, Audi.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Management of Master Planning Programs (Long Term Planning).
  • Management of Production Plans on a daily basis, making the necessary adjustments as required.
  • Special processes, such as: Laser Printing, Sticker Placement, Milling.
  • Painting Processes: Color and varnish chain loading rates.
  • Indispensable for special processes such as Low/Mid Gloss finish, KSL Varnish, 4-layer painting process, Bicolor, Premium Paints.
  • Process timing on paint lines for proper scheduling and maintaining continuous flow for packing FG wheels.
  • QAD handling.
  • IATF 16949.
